Our Winter Parka is perfect for outside activities in Alaska's cold weather.  If you are active, it’s going to keep you warm but not too bulky to easily move from inside to outside.  If you are planning a midnight viewing of the Aurora skies, it's roomy enough to add a layering element which we recommend for those Fairbanks nights.

Our parkas have a snow skirt that wraps around your waist and keeps cold air from chilling your core.  Plus our parkas have a fur ruff, which keeps snow and wind away from your face, and an insulated hood that will help keep essential heat inside and close to your body.  There are plenty of pockets for storing small items.

The best way for us to make sure you are sized correctly is to stop in the store and try these on, but if we are mailing you your parka, here is a reasonable estimate of sizing. 

These Jackets are generously sized, and can normally fit a single layering item under them with comfort. 

However, if you are on the borderline between one size and the next size up, please order the larger size, as layering is so important and we want you to be able to move comfortably while traveling.
