Description

For all three of our rental programs—Alyeska, Iditarod, and Northern Lights—we exclusively use the Baffin Canada Winter Boot, a trusted choice for warmth, durability, and performance in extreme conditions. Designed to handle Alaska’s coldest temperatures, these boots will keep your feet comfortable and protected whether you’re exploring ski slopes, trekking through snow, or braving icy trails.  These boots are not just gear—they’re a critical part of your comfort and safety, designed to perform under the most demanding conditions.

NOTE: Baffin boots are designed to fit snugly. If you are between sizes or have wider feet, order one size up.

  • Durable Leather Upper with FauxFur Collar: Combines rugged protection with a touch of style.
  • Waterproof Rubber Foot: Premium rubber construction restricts wet elements, ensuring dry feet in snowy or slushy conditions.
  • Removable Felt Liner: This liner offers exceptional warmth and breathability, ensuring your boots stay insulated and comfortable. In Alaska, it’s essential to remove the liners at night to allow natural perspiration to dry completely. This simple step ensures your boots are fresh and warm the next morning, keeping your feet snug and comfortable throughout the day.
  • Gel Flex Midsole: This midsole offers superior support and shock absorption, making these boots ideal for long hours of outdoor activity.
  • Polar Rubber Outsole: Delivers excellent traction on icy and snowy surfaces, so you stay stable and safe.
  • LaceUp Design with DRing Hardware: Ensures a secure yet comfortable fit that adjusts to your needs.
  • Temperature Rating: With a tested performance down to 40°F (40°C), these boots are ready for Alaska’s most challenging conditions.
