Getting Your Gear: Anchorage Pickup & Delivery, Fairbanks Shipping
Your Alaska adventure may begin in one city and end in another, so we've made getting your rental gear and returning it as easy as possible. Your gear comes packed in a durable, easy-to-carry duffel bag, ready for your trip.
In Anchorage
Our store is at 520 West 6th Avenue in downtown Anchorage, close to most downtown hotels. We recommend stopping by the store to pick up your gear. We'll get you fitted in the right sizes and answer any questions about Alaska's winter conditions before you head out. In-store pickup and return are free.
Prefer to head straight to your hotel? We can drop off your gear at your Anchorage hotel the day before you arrive and pick it up from your hotel the day you leave. Hotel drop-off or pickup is $20 each way. Please let us know when you place your order if you'd like either service.
In Fairbanks
If your trip begins in Fairbanks, we'll ship your gear out to your Fairbanks hotel five days before your scheduled arrival, so it's there waiting for you. If you're staying at an Airbnb or other vacation rental, please check with your host in advance to make sure they can receive and hold your shipment.
Fairbanks shipping is $30 for up to two people on one reservation, plus $15 for each additional person on the same reservation. If the actual postage is less, we only charge the actual postage.
When your trip ends in Fairbanks, pack your gear into the prepaid shipping box we provide, seal it with the included tape, and drop it off at the post office near Fairbanks International Airport, 5400 Mail Trail, Fairbanks, AK 99709. Please text or email us a photo of the tracking information once it's on its way.
Traveling Between Anchorage and Fairbanks
- Starting in Fairbanks, ending in Anchorage: We'll ship your gear to your Fairbanks hotel. When you reach Anchorage, return it to our downtown store, or we can pick it up from your Anchorage hotel for $20.
- Starting in Anchorage, ending in Fairbanks: Pick up your gear at our store, or we'll drop it off at your Anchorage hotel for $20. At the end of your trip, ship it back from Fairbanks using the prepaid box.
