We are Frontier Born but would not have lasted 32 years without business from loyal Alaskan customers living far away from Anchorage.
Through the years we've supported a number of causes, but in 2017, learning Alaska has the highest rate of unintentional drowning deaths in the nation, we finally found the one project that means the most to us. We partnered with the State of Alaska's Kid's Don't Float program to donate life jackets for loaner boards in villages across the state.
We initially planned to donate 250 life jackets to loaner boards in 31 rural Alaskan communities.
By the end of the program, we had provided 450 life jackets to loaner boards located in 44 communities.
We will continue to support charitable giving througout the year, but our hearts are now with Kid's Don't Float and we will continue to donate life jackets to this important cause through the years to come.
